In order to be able to perform this service, it is essential to have technical equipment, which can be of two types:

1.BOOTHS

It is the necessary equipment for on-site interpreting in large-scale events (more than 20 people). The equipment consists of:

• Soundproof booths for two interpreters: necessary to provide sound insulation for interpreters.
• Console for interpreters: allows them to control the sound input and output.
• Audio distribution: the audio of the interpreted languages reaches the audience wirelessly.
• Receiver: the equipment used by the audience to receive the interpretation.

At Tick Translations we guarantee that all our booths comply with the ISO 4043 standard. The service includes assembly, technical tests beforehand and the assistance of a specialised technician during the event.

2.INFOPORT SYSTEM

Recommended only for on-site interpreting of presentations or business meetings with a small number of people. The number of participants an Infoport unit can handle is limited to 20, which are the receivers contained in the briefcase. In some cases, several briefcases may be available to handle a larger number of people.

It is a wireless audio system for simultaneous interpretation.

The equipment consists of:

• 1 carrying case
• 1 microphone
• 20 receivers (headphones)

It also has several channels that allow you to listen to different languages. It is a portable, easy to use system and does not require an interpreting booth.
